And..... a bird can have a yeast infection, but not have any signs of it other than funny looking poop. This I found out recently when I took my peahen to the vet to have her check the poop for bacteria, but all she found was yeast for which she prescribed ketoconazole, which can be purchased for fish in the US. Dose for my 3kg peahen was 50mg twice a day for 10-14 days.

FYI, I'm not suggesting any medications, just that bacteria and yeast infections can look the same. Best option would be to have a vet look at a poop sample and/or swab the uterus to check for yeast and/or bacteria.

It looks like its in a capsule form. I would imagine it could be compounded at a compounding pharmacy into liquid form.

We have purchased lots of prescription only drugs from overseas (Flagyl, Baytril, Prednisolone, etc.) and they always make it here without any issues or hold ups.

I have tried to purchase medications in the past,and always will not or cannot ship to Canada. Almost every drug is labeled as a controlled substance and cannot enter Canada.
