Found 1st Duck Egg Today!!!!!!!!

I just went out to the coop to check for eggs and in the middle of the run i found a duck egg absolutly coverd in mud. I washed it off a bit and im going to wait till friday and see if i get anymore then put it/them in the bator and see what happens!!! i thought it was way to late in the season for ducks to lay.....gives me hope the quail might start up before it gets really cold.

some ducks do lay in the fall .good luck with your eggs /are they fertile?

Im going to assume this egg is fertile as she is the only female with two males.
