Oh yeah, I think turkeys need a higher protein feed than chicken feed. Somebody know for sure???

Whew! Glad you have him figured out. Probably a wild Mama turkey hatched only this one, and then a predator got her, or else she hatched a nestful, something chased and scattered them, and this one couldn't be located. My nephew and his family found (in the hayfield) and raised a baby turkey a couple years ago, and had a lot of fun with it. It tamed right down, being raised by them--just as tho it was a tame turkey.
