Found a chicken on road - Help!

No luck tonight, she wakes up and takes off everytime we get close to getting her. I will see if we can bring her some treats first before coming back again. Also, we'll make sure the friend knows about it, I read about other stray chickens being taken in and having to be kept separated, so I'll let her know that she may have to take one. If all else fails, we'll try calling one of our wildlife places to see if they'll come get her. Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

Ah, that’s too bad. She has obviously not been socialized well and she is afraid. I sure hope she survives this. It’s dangerous out there for a chicken. I know you are doing all you can, but honestly it’s hard to catch a chicken when they are in an enclosed pen. Hope the treats work.
