Found a chicken, trying to do the most humane thing ❤️

We found a chicken roaming "the wrong part of town" as far as chickens are concerned. In a mountainous area & it being about dusk, we knew this chicken wouldn't make it through the night in the wild with such a healthy raccoon/cyote population. Unfortunately we are not aloud to have roosters in our neighborhood, but nature can impose some of the cruelest deaths to domesticated animals.

Insight to sex, breed or any other advice is much appreciated

That looks like a cockerel, I'm pretty sure he's also a hybrid. Anyone know what he's mixed with?

It looks to be a young boy. Probably 12-16 weeks old? Backyard mix breed.
