Found a "lash egg" - Now what?

I just found lash egg or some kind of lining last night and today in my hen, I know which one, I cleaned the coop. I noticed she sleeps in nest box often and rarely roosts. I am going to support with garlic in water and see what happens. Hoping it is not a serious lash egg situation, I have been getting lots of eggs from both that lay brown eggs lately so I don't know what to think. Is it going to cause other eggs she lays to be bad? I won't know which is hers? Should we quit eating any of those for a while?

My 'not quite 2 year old' laid a lash egg last year. She still hasn't laid again but is still alive. But now she has what seems to be 'egg white' come out every once in a while and it makes a mess on her bum so I bathe her. She still eats and drinks all normal but just gets messy. Anyone ever had that happen??

I know this is a very old thread but I'm wondering what happened to the flocks after this long term. I just had a hen lay two lash eggs a couple weeks apart. The first was small, this second one was the size of a regular egg. I suspected one of my two RIRs but they seem normal. I didn't initially suspect my Wyandotte but she's been a little off since she's just finishing a hard molt so could be her.
