found a quill in my pup's shoulder

she has had the quill in her for a few days

tonight we had a tick feat and got ride of all their ticks. i found what looked like a peice of straw sticking out of her shoulder, my dad pulled it out, and it was a quill
i think it was like, tuesday when she tangoed with the porcupine. i remember being outside with my RC tank, when my dogs run out behind the house. i hear a sharp yelp and see Nikki running as fast as she could go. porcupine was the first thing that came to minds, but when i saw her running, i just guessed she was chasing s bunny.

i feel bad now

Ugh! at least the quill was on the shoulder, when they are inside the mouth and on the tongue--can be very difficult to remove.

I've even had horses get quills in their nose and front legs...

this year porcupine are legal to hunt in pa so if your in pa.... well you know what to do
