Found a slightly damaged egg in incubator, Day 4

View attachment 1850461 View attachment 1850462 So im incubating 21 eggs and i candled them today on day 4 to check progress and noticed that one had a small indentation in the shell, some cracks, noting leaking though. Has anyone else ran into this issue when incubating? I dont want to just get rid of it if there is a chance the embryo will be ok. Thoughts?
I’ve seen people put masking tape over the cracks on YouTube. Or candle wax. I dropped one right st the beginning so I read about it but mine was too bad!

I dont think that is viable because on day 3-4 you should see a spider like blood veins starting to come off of the blastoderm and that is an”hair crack” not just a dent so I would let it go. Up to you but as the chick even if a little late showing veins will grow and the cracks will get worse.

Thats what i was thinking as well, of the bunch only one is showing the spider like veins, so kinda disappointed now. Will prob end up removing this one tomorrow

I don't toss anything before day 10. I have successfully hatched cracked eggs before by covering the crack with nu-skin.

Don’t get rid of any but damaged. Sometimes it may be 5 days but I don’t candle until day 14. Hands off is best. Don’t give up, just be patient and if none are fertile try again. It takes time to learn incubation.
