Found a spider...

I found this spider while I was doing laundry... long story short, I fed it to the girls. They went CRAZY over it. Normally I don't kill spiders, but it was either get rid of it, or it may end up in my bedroom. Or in my bed. No thanks.

The river isn't far, and a few neighbors have ponds. But we have some big spiders around here! They fought over it, and was upset I only had one. Sorry girls, if there were a dozen more, I might've lit the house on fire lol

We have those too. I find a couple every year by accident.
If your chickens went crazy over it without being kind of scared of it at first, then surely they have eaten them before.

We found another one in the yard yesterday so we fed it to them. I'm sure they find all kinds of crazy things in the yard to eat lol
