Hey guys! I just wanted to share with you this awesome way I found with sickly quail chicks that just would not eat.
Many people on this forum suggested scrambled egg, but it's near impossible to feed it to a chick when it won't eat and the bits are too big even when you grind them up.
Egg soup(not to be confused with egg drop) is just perfect for this.
To make it, first beat an egg or a quail egg to a light yellow, both are fine.
Then, heat up a little bit of water until very hot but not boiling. Just almost boiling. For the amount of water just make sure the mixture is still mostly egg. Don't thin it out too much.
Next, pour the hot water slowly into the beaten egg and mix. And then let it become warm. It should look like watery broth with no floaty bits at all. If you have floaty bits the water is too hot.
And then you dip your chick's beak into the watery mixture, and let it drink!
I've saved my own chicks from death this way
Hope this helps!
