Found an egg on my dock

Actually, looks more like a heron. I think egrets are born white and have a yellow beak.

Glad I was prepared! Going to keep him for the night so I will have photos until then! I went out to buy the silversides and came back and he was basically out!

Oh my goodness! Make sure they don't get to hot under the heat lamp (I've heard too many horror stories). Have you tried feeding them any silversides? Do they seem interested in eating at all?
