Found an egret egg and incubating

The OP is in illegal possession of the egg. Trying to hatch the egg is illegal. Encouraging the OP to continue this illegal activity could be construed as aiding and abetting in the commission of a crime.

I reached out to my local wildlife center to see if they can take it!

What did they say? I doubt they would incubate it. You might have to ask a bird park or something that mostly deals with birds

My local one deals with a lot of birds it looks like so I think they will be able to but it is late here so no response yet!
