I was working on my freezer incubator yesterday and my dad stopped by with one of his friends. I explained what I was doing and he said he had an incubator that he was going to part out and trash. Soooooooooo Now I have this:

It's really small. About a foot square and 16" tall (I should have measured it). It has a 55w ceramic heating element (?) and was used in a lab for cultures (it was in a food additive manufacturing plant). And it's HEAVY!!!

So. Time to google for a while and see exactly what this thing could be used for. Maybe a tiny hatcher for button quail???

This is the 4th incubator that someone has given me this year! I encourage all of you to spread the word that you hatch chicks and they will dig through that old garage because they saw something like that buried somewhere in that mess

If anyone has any info to share please do!!!

I have advertised in local classified, asked friends and family to be on the lookout, browbeat my hubby into making me one, and based on his *promise* only stared at the bators at my local feed store. Not one bit of luck have I had. When I give up and my pullets become broody at some point in the years to come I'm sure that is when I'll get my "free bator" from someone, lol! Congrats on your find! Now I have "bator envy"!
