Found baby bird and there nothing I can do :(

I found this baby bird and my step sister said it's been out there since yesterday I took it in but I had to put it back out I feel like the most cruelest person but there's nothing I can do for it I really don't have the time and I tried finding the best in came from but I think the mom abandon all if them because there other dead bodies idk what to do I feel like shitttt.... I just put it on a paper towel and put it outside... Should I let nature takes it course?

Can you take it to a local wildlife rehabber? You probably have one in your area that will be willing to raise it. Check online to see if you can find one or call your local animal rescue as they most likely know the ones in your area and can refer you to them.

It looks like a baby starling. You could feed it wet cat food until it goes, if you are going to call someone. They make great pets, I fed one two years ago and she's still here. They can talk like a parrot.
