Found egg in Duck house 2 days after hatching, baby duck alive!

Went to duck house to check and see if all hatchlings were with mother duck and
Found an egg with baby duck hatching out. Can I return the egg or duckling to
Mother duck tonight or should I raise the youngster my self ?

Wow - that's great!! I assume that the other ducklings are only a couple of days old. I'm also assuming that you have taken the egg out of the nest and are now hatching it in an incubator - is that right? Once the duckling is fully out you could try slipping it under the mother duck tonight, after dark. Protect the duckling with your hand (so have your fingers downwards enclosing the ducking and the back of your hand up on top - this will protect the duckling if the mother duck bites at your hand. Slip the duckling under her wing.
