Ema: I am beginning to want to eat them now. LOL It took all 7 we had for a small breakfast for 3 people this am. We fried them and they are the best tasting eggs you will ever get. I had "homegrown" eggs growing up in the south and knew they were good, but it was sooo good to have them again. Thanks for all your help.

if they're on layer crumbles do I still need to add oyster shells? they all free range my yard all day so I dont add grit,

If your girls are on layer feed they shouldn't need oyster shell. That being said, I still have it out for mine anyway. But since the free-loaders decided to stop laying for who knows how long, they haven't touched it.
