Working on the coop this afternoon and opened the egg box back door , and found my guinea in it LOL . I've never sean her in the nest boxes but I had noticed a strange egg lately well not strange just one i hadn't seen before and not one of my pullets now I know who was laying it . ? is could it be fertile , she is my only guinea raised with my chickens lives and roosts with them , but first time I 've seen her in the boxes , never seen her mated by my roo's either . I put the egg in with my others that I set friday . Any thoughts?

Crack it open and see if there is a bullseye on the yolk

There's a chance your Roo could have fertilized the Guinea egg, not a huge chance, but still a chance... candle it 10 days after you set it, then you will know.
I think hybrids are cool because they are so rare and unique, even if they are sterile

That's what I was thinking then if there is nothing happening I will just discard the egg thanks
