Found hen dead - No visible cause

Yesterday all the chickens appeared fine and were roosting last nite when I locked up. This morning I found a BA dead laying on the floor under the roost. No signs of injury. I hope there is no disease running thru the flock. What could have caused this besides a viral illness?

Had a couple die that way. It just happens some times. Just watch the flock for signs of illness. Don't panic, it's probably nothing.

Thanks, Chickflick. I'll keep watching them but it's nice to know that sometimes it just happens and doesn't spell the end for the rest.
