Unknown deaths the past 2 days

Yesterday morning a young roo ( couple months old ) died during the night and rear was torn up along with one of its legs. It was in the front of the coop.. The rest of the girls were fine no signs of a predator or struggle ( no feathers everywhere ) now this afternoon one of our 1 year old hens was also found dead and she was on her side legs curled to herself and rear was also torn up. She was in their roost area no feathers torn once again. Nobody’s showing symptoms but a cold front has just blown so maybe that could be a cause? Please help and thank you

I’ve never seen them before but google says they are in my state.. :0

Could also be rats, if the coop is not 100% predator proof with hardware cloth and such.

A trail cam or something like that might be a really good idea. I'm really sorry for your losses!
