These brown string type material is in several eggs.
Doesn’t look like meat spots as they are more linear.
I was thinking maybe some type of worm. Hate to medicate if I don’t need too. On other hand don’t want my girls getting ill and I don’t want worms in eggs!!!
I believe it’s from the Wyandotte eggs. One started to have a cough but nothing from nose or any respiratory distress. No odd things noted in poop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have they had any excess stress lately?
No excess stress other than an unusual cold snap.
I should add that my chickens do not free range due to high predator population. A total of 9 birds live in a a 12x13 coop with attached 32x 14 run with sand base.
This is cleaned a minimum of once daily.

I don't think it is worms, I think it is meat spots. Frequent when birds start laying again after the winter break.
I thought meat spots were darker and more round.
These look stringy. Maybe I’m just freaking out.
Thank you so much for your reply.
