We purchased some grown guinea fowl about a month ago. They were laying and we would find an egg or two every day. Then we didn't find any for a while. Today, my son found a hole in the garden filled with about 15 eggs. Do you think these are still edible? I have no idea if any of the guinea are male or not so no idea if there is a chance they are fertilized. Just wanted some opinions from experiences folks! Thanks!

The simple trick to check eggs for freshness is to place them in a container of water. If the eggs sink, they are fresh but if they float they are not fresh. Of course even the ones that float may still be edible but should be broken into a bowl for inspection before deciding to cook or discard.
