I had never worried until my 12 YO son went to check the Ameraucanas and there was a small copperhead until the door...he almost stepped on it...now we look down and are carefull when around coops!!

Please please please tell me the copperhead was not in the hen house. I have seen several black snakes and freaked out. I would die if I ever saw a copperhead in there.
