I finally found where my white and black speckled easter egger has been laying - behind a pile of lumber in the shed. She's not broody, just laying eggs there. There are 14 eggs. It has been below freezing at night here but I candled them and don't see and cracks. I just turned on the incubator.
Anyone incubated found eggs during the winter? I wonder what chance I have with these? She's beautiful and the eggs should be fertile so here's hoping.

you could give it a try they have a smaller chance of hatching because some are older and it has been getting below freezing but hopefully you get a couple chicks.

There's no harm in trying, maybe she found a nice insulated area for them, lol. People successfully hatch eggs that have been refrigerated so you never know!
