So the other afternoon I opened up the door to the backyard and only one of my two RIRs came running over to the door as usual to greet me. I became curious as to where the other one was so I started looking around and found her in a little bowl they dug behind a rose plant where they dust themselves. Her wings were spread and she was just laying there, expired probably within moments because her body was still really warm. Checked the body thoroughly for trauma and found none. Any ideas what happened?
