Found our first egg today!!

I know there are lots of these posts but I had to share. I found our first egg today, right in one of the nest boxes! It was small but perfect! We have 6 BR and 6 BO.
They are all 21 weeks old. I figured the time was near as the BR hens comb and wattles were getting very red and they started squatting about a week ago.
It has been lots of fun so far seeing my chickens do all the neat things I read about on this site. I got them as day olds last October and it amazes me the things they know purely on instict, as they had no other chickens to learn from.

Congratulations on your first egg! It is sooo fun to find that first one...then the next and the next! I have the exact same Jiffy Way egg scale! Too cool...anyway, happy egg hunting!
