Found pullet in coop- dead but not eaten -

Did the big rooster have any kinds of marks on him when you found the first one dead? Unless one bird gets in a lucky shot, usually when you have had a nasty rooster fight, you know you have had a rooster fight, they go after each others combs and wattles also and there is usually a lot of marks on both birds.
 
No marks at all- I think it was a lucky shot - the larger got the smaller one cornered and that was the end of him. All other birds in the coop are hens so they were not involved at all.
No comb or wattle damage to either bird. It was almost as if the smaller bird just got flattened.
He/she/it went out in the trash so no autopsy possible. I just know the roo's gotta go.
