Hi! I have 3 chickens in a chicken tractor, and this afternoon found the Red in the run, sitting down with eyes closed when I went to feed them. I live in IN, it got down to 19 degrees here last night but it's been colder this winter already, and they've been fine. I feed them regular layer's mix pellets, and scratch (corn, oats, millet). Their water was frozen, but the other two (Americaunas) are fine. I changed the water and took the Red inside. I have her wrapped in a towel with a heating pad and am trying to give her water from a dropper. noticed a few lice on her but not a ton. Vent is pink and seems like she hasn't laid for a while (I haven't had eggs for about 2 weeks).
What could be going on???

I don't have any advice for you but hopefully by bumping you someone will come along who can help you.

I'm glad you are trying to warm her up, that would be my first instinct.

Good luck I hope she will be alright.
