Found slightly bloody poo from chicks, should I dose with Sulmet now?

Quote:
Hopefully they are all O.K. When it happened to me last year I was sure they were sick and had cocci. Whatever the chick had ate changed the color of the poo and I was sure it was blood tinted but it didn't happen again but by that time I was a nervous wreck. Hopeing for the best for you and your chicks. Let us know how they are doing.

you can email me and I can send you the information
the coccidiosis is always a problem when they get a mont old
and cocidiosis can be brought into your chicken pens on your feet
it is in the soil

our almost 29 week old barred rocks were not exposed to the ground & they still got cocci, but had neighbors in the brooder next to them that had cocci ( wall between the 2 parts of the brooder) how can it go from one side to the other when no shavins are exposed from one to the other?

chicks at the time of cocci was treated with corid.
