A couple of my barred rocks lay real small eggs 2 or 3 times a week. I decided to add a little protein to their diets and have been giving them yogurt in the morning. Tomorrow they're going to have some tuna.

Our coop has four nest boxes for eight chickens. On a normal day, 5 of the 8 lay in #1, 1 in #2, and 1 or 2 in #4. There has never been an egg in #3. I have found eggs on the floor of the coop in front of #1. My guess is that box is occupied by another pullet so someone just gets as close as she can to it and lays her egg. Isn't it amazing??

Yes it is amazing!! I'm just glad this is normal, guess this is my first fart egg,

Please there has to be a more pleasant term than this.

Op I had one that was so small there was no yolk at all. Such is life.
