Found tracks please ID!

I found animal prints on top of my grill this morning

They look too large to be a squirrel. The lighter is there for size comparison. Anyone know what animal left these? They almost look like cat paws

If the tracks are in a zigzag line they could be cat tracks, but if they are in a straight line they could be fox tracks, at least that what I read.

as there on top of your grill my thoughts are either long tail weasel or mink. (if you have them where you live that is)

We do have minks but they are rare. I've never seen one but my neighbor had one get in his coop years ago. Maybe I'll put out the live trap tonight...

Based on the following picture and the size of them, I think fox because cats don't generally walk with their claws out:

We dont have those in Indiana. At least I dont think so. I'll have the SO set out the live trap tonight and see if we catch anything

cat paws are rounder as opposed to longer like yours appear. And as someone stated, cats leave no claw marks

Grey squirrels do, they're the 2nd biggest squirrel in the U.S.
The tracks look the same as fox squirrel.

They look like canid, see the claw marks, and about right size for a small fox, but I can't imagine a fox getting on a grill shelf.
Could be a cat with claws out to hold onto slippery surface.
Where is grill in yard?
