Foundation help/confusion

Building a 6x8 coop. Different designs mention differing foundation support. One has using concrete pavers right under the posts and another free floats like this...first picture.

Looking for best recommendations for a coop stationed in Wisconsin or Midwest winters/summers. Also area coop will be.

I have cinder blocks set into the ground as a base onto which my coop and run are built on with a hardware cloth apron. Predator proofing from the ground up saves a lot of loss and heartache later.

Agreed. Do you have much movement with just being on the cinder blocks?

Thank you. Did you dig them coop posts down or is the it just on the cinder blocks? Any issues with frost?

The posts are screwed to 2x4s which are nailed to the concrete.
