I think this is a hybrid cream legbar mix. My question is- she stands so upright. Is there something wrong with her legs/feet? Or an early sign she’s a cockeral?

There is no behavior to suggest she might be. She’s my tiniest chick. I know cream legbars are sex linked, would that be passed to to a cream legbar mix?

Anyone else that had a pullet stand this upright at about a week old?

That upright posture is nothing to do with gender. That is a chick who is not doing well. How many days have you had the chick? Has it been like this since the moment you got it? Prior to your update about its decline, was it walking, eating, drinking and expelling waste? Were these chicks that were shipped?

I bought them at Wilco, a farm co op store last week, and this chick was lively up until I checked on them this morning.

I have different sized chicks and I feel like this one and the other small one aren’t doing as well as the bigger chicks. They should all be about the same age.

I got them from a farm store. They were healthy when I got them. But lots of pasty butt. They have a brooding plate and are in a heated out building.

My shipped chicks have always done well. I’ve never had pasty butt or any other health concern.

I have them on medicated Purina chick starter. Switching to unmedicated Manna pro today to see if that helps.

I also am trying to get her to drink save a chick, it could be that her blood sugar just dipped too low overnight?
