I have now had my chickens for four days, The first 3 were out nearly every 10mins,
Back to work yesterday so they had to fend for themselves, all ok,
Have had them in the coop as was recomended, Want to let them into the rest of garden at the weekend, How far will they wonder,

Welcome to BYC. They should return to their pen/coop before sunset, if predators dont get them.

Thanks
I will be around to see how far they go.
I am not sure how to put info into the box, (bit of an oldie) so here is some info

I am from England, work in a school, have an allotment and at the moment I am trying to make a batch of Tea wine

! Great to have you in our community! Depends on how old they are....baby chicks like to stick close to each other and to cover. Like Dawg said...watch for predators!!

Some people put up electric chicken netting to help keep predators out. It gives them a large area to roam.
