I have a sneaky suspicion that my oldest son gets confirmed the Sunday of the bash.

If that's the case, then we can only do Friday night and Saturday to play. But without the hubby along, I can stay later on Sat before driving back.

You know, I have nothing to breed the golds to. I hatched out 6 black orps in the fall and every single one of them was a female. Not that I'm complaining, but I kinda wanted a black orp roo even though I have absolutely no room for any more roos.

I could bring some lavs, though. By then my pullets should be in full swing. I just wish I had a larger incubator in case anyone else was interested. So you'd rather have chicks than hatching eggs?

I think that is one of the traits of the English orps, no? I thought I read that somewhere.

For some reason, Bigfam, my 2 black orps have huge @sses, but their lav sister is really small & streamlined. No clue what is up with that.
