I was wondering what ever happened to Dr Purl? Glad to hear she is ok.

Donated items are used for a raffle to help pay for the cost of Camp for the weekend. If we can generate enough tickets for that, then we can eliminate the free will offering. No matter what, everyone can afford to come. It is for all of the Cheeseheads family to enjoy.

Well--I had a post...now it is gone! I wanted to say that on post 65 is the updated list. IF people would like a plant list (if it is ever warm enough to dig them) I can do that...also a list for livestock coming along for trade or sale.

I would also like to address the White Elephant Gift exchange for those of you that havent done one in the past (or just dont get it) The "gift" is something useful...maybe not to you, but that someone would want. You usually already own it but purchase is OK if need be. A definition:

Remember, don't get stressed over these. White Elephant Gift parties are meant to be fun!
A. The "gag-gift" exchange where people find the tackiest things that they can to give as gifts. But as with all White Elephant Gift parties, you'll want to give something worth fighting for to make the party more fun. (The game involves each person getting to choose either a gift from the unselected pile, or take the gift of one of the previous recipients - so you want to give something steal-worthy if possible.)

So this is the type that we do. Otherwise known as a Pirate Gift Exchange. Get creative...remember we all love chickens! Those types of gifts are good ones! You know if you have a good gift cause it will be the one that is stolen the most!

With this group..that meat being slapped in a bun could be just about anything. The bun could be any type of bun, and even the slapping part is going to be twisted, specially when coupled with the bun part.
