I recently bought 7 chicks. I noticed two had sores. One of the chicks had sores on its nose skin and the other in its feathers between the nose and eye. I'll post pics when I can. For sure they will be quarantined from the rest. All under a month old. Can chicks get fowl pox? How long will it last? Can it kill them?

Fowl pox is a virus transmitted by mosquitoe bites. It'll pass with in about 3 weeks, & the chicks will be immune to it.

That looks like Dry Fowl Pox. Do they have any lesions inside their beak? Eating/drinking o.k.?

If uncomplicated, Dry Fowl Pox will generally resolve in several weeks, but it can be harder on chicks, so I would make sure they are eating/drinking well. If the scabs are not obstructing the eyes and don't invade the beak, then I would leave the scabs alone. Disturbing scabs can make it spread.
