my roo got in a pretty bad fight w his brother and i had to separate them awhile back, are these healing marks or fowl pox, looks more like fowl pox to me, if so what can i do to help him through it, i know you can’t necessarily treat it but maybe help it? iodine? neosporin? anything like that? i haven’t taken a good look at his face since he’s usually just busy scratching the ground, hiding in buckets, cuddling under his blanket, i didn’t realize it looked like this :/

Yes, I do think that he has fowl pox, a virus spread by mosquitoes which lasts about a month. Most chickens recover, unless they get severe scabs over their eyes which blind them to finding water and food, or if they develop the rare wet pox, which causes painful yellow lesions and material inside the beak and throat. Betadine may be applied to scabs to help dry them out, but do not disturb the scabs, since that can spread the disease. I would not treat at all, unless using antibiotic eye ointment in eyes with scabs causing problems.
