Can anyone confirm if this looks like fowl pox on my young Legbar?

She just started laying, and she and the other pullets have been figuring out their place in the pecking order, so I’m trying to tell if this is fowl pox or just pecking injuries.

She’s acting normal, eating, laying her peewee blue eggs, drinking, and is active. I haven’t seen scabs anywhere else on her, and none of the other birds seem to have any either.

If it is pox, is it worth separating her? I’ve read that it’s super contagious and tends to make its way through the flock anyway. Is there a point of no return?

Thanks!

I don't think so. The rest of her comb and skin look pretty healthy. These lesions might be caused by fighting over the nest box. I've seen my hens grab one in the box by the comb and try to drag her out.

Thanks! I’m gonna smear a little blue on it so the others don’t pick at her.
