I have four birds showing these growths and scabs. They are all about 4 months old. Their behavior has not changed and I have added probiotics/nutridrench to their diet and made sure they are getting more protein and nutrient-rich food. I have a large flock so I am worried about this spreading. If it is fowl pox then I can handle that but it just looks different from a majority of the pics I have seen. They aren't old enough to have wattles or combs the pox can attack but it does seem to be going after that area. Any help would be appreciated.

It doesn't look like a lot of pics of the typical dry fowl pox,a disease spread by mosquitoes, but I think that is probably what you are dealing with. You may want to separate the 4 with symptoms, since disturbing or healing and falling off of scabs can spread the disease. It can also be spread with direct contact. Make sure they are drinking fluids and eating normally, since young chickens are affected more by pox. It typically goes away in a few weeks without treatment. There is a vaccine available to chickens who have mot been exposed.
