Is this fowl pox or something else

Here's a list of pests that can cause fowl pox in chickens:
Mites, midges, flies, fleas. I recommend that you closely inspect your all your birds for any of these pests. Especially check around the vent area of each bird where it's warm and moist.
If you see any, you can use Permethrin dust to treat each bird. You'll also have to dust inside the coop and in nest boxes. Then repeat dusting again in 10 days to kill nits hatched from eggs. It's possible a third dusting might be required if there's a prolific infestation.
Mites suck blood and cause anemia, then death. They are tiny, black or red in color and have 8 legs. A magnifying glass can help ID them.

I haven’t seen any mites bugs flies etc. around, but I’ll keep my eyes open!
