Fox attack - limp neck

Pics
I'm sorry to hear your girl is injured.
She may benefit from being upright for short periods of time if she is not pooping while laying down. You may be able to place her in sling - roll up a towel to support her neck. This may also help her to breath easier.
I hope she recovers.

Wow, this is amazing. Thank you so much!!! I will def give this a go. I just tried giving her a gentle rub down on her sides, if not for the sake of feeling good, but to perhaps get the flow going. Since there does seem to be an injury on her vent, perhaps prolapse, I wonder if this is what keeps her from the urge to poop.
I take it this is for injury of a leg, ingenious!, but what does this do for poop? Is this a common reaction in recuperation, they just lose the urge to poop?
Thank you for the well wishes :) I'm gaging about 60/40 at this point. I sure hope after today that will improve.

She us most likely in shock. Keep her warm..best thing is to keep her warm and quiet. I wouldn't move her right now. You've done ur best cleaning her up. Now let her rest and see if she comes around. Do you have nutri drench or something similar? If she comes around..u can drip something line that on her beak to get fluids n2 her. Right now..best thing is rest. I hope ur girl makes it.
No, I don't have Nutri-Drench, but I do have some Poultry-Cell. Is that good? WHere do you buy yours? Yes, time and rest seem to be on her side.
I do wonder if she has an illness on top of this attack. Did not know about her poopy-butt before this. It isn't bad, but it was obviously there because some fluffy butt feathers were stuck together. Plus the fox got her vent area as well. Its curious because she hadn't laid an egg in almost a year and suddenly she laid 3 eggs in the past week! Now this :(
Will just have to wait and see how she fairs. Trying to take care of her the best we can. Really appreciate all the help here. Thank you!

Also the sling may put her in a position that's more comfortable for her to poop. Like people in the hospital have an easier time with a bedside cammode than a bed pan. also the less she eats the less poop she will make.

loona, stay with metacam, as we know it is safe for chickens, not all nsaids are.
Yes, so thankful to have some on hand from a previous vet visit for a hen that had her entire 'breast meat' exposed because the rooster cut her wide open. The people here on this website were more informative and supportive than the vet, and happily she is practically all healed up. I need to post another pic of the final stages of healing. But I was given this metacam, however she didn't seem to need it after a couple of day. She seemed perfectly normal. So I have it, and I'm so glad because I know Olga def needs it.
Thank you!

Poultry Cell would be fine.

A sling can be used for a number of things - chickens do better if they can be upright - it may help her to poop - worth a try.
I looked at your video of the vent - not sure what's going on there - it looks crooked and torn, poor thing.

I have these items that I purchased a while back when I thought I was going to have to try the tube feeding. Is this the correct thing? I wasn't sure once I rec'd it if it was right. Glad I didn't have to use it, but if I have to do this at some point, I'll need the proper stuff. What else besides a tube? Like what apparatus is used for the food? IMG_0829.JPG copy.jpg

@casportpony is the tube feeding expert. I just don't know enough about the tubes to say what's what:oops:
