Four days ago, my husband had found that one of our free-ranging chickens, who we have had for over 6 months, had been attacked by a fox. The fox was small and took our smallest chicken. The fox must have been scared off by our neighbors dogs, because the fox left our little lady in a pile of leaves. She seemed more in shock than anything. She had two wounds on her neck that I cleaned up. We brought her inside the house and set her up with some towels, water and a space heater. Friday, she stayed in a state of shock and I gave her electrolyte water by dipping her head gently in the bowl. She didn't want any food. Saturday, she was sitting up, a little more animate, perked up when we were with her. Sunday, her neck started to tilt so I added Rooster Booster Poultry Cell to our regiment. This morning, I found her laying on her side. She had been getting better and now seems to be doing worse. She has herself perched up in the corner of our breezeway but doesn't want to eat and we have been giving her electrolyte water via syringe. Should I continue care or euthanize?
