I have to agree with previous people. We had a fox attack about 6 weeks ago when we had ice build up in front of the coop door, so we did everything in our power to catch it while keeping the birds safe. We normally free range all day, but we kept them locked up. About a week later, we saw the fox in broad daylight trying to get to them. Just because they typically don't show up during the day, they'll do whatever they can to get an easy meal. Just be cautious!
