Fox killing my babies

My neighbor text me at 6:46 this morning, said she saw a Fox run up my driveway.
I went out to check on my girls. Everyone was OK. They were in their pen.
I saw the Fox around 8:30 am in my driveway.
I free range my Chickens an hour before sunset. Me and my 25/20 are gonna have to hangout with them.
Good thing I have a smartphone so I can still be on BYC.:) GC

please someone help and fast~ started with 6 chicks, 2 were stolen out of the pen night before last, small opening in the gate of the pen. secured it 110% for last night, woke up this am and it looks like she pulled the chicken thru the chain fence without entering it!! its a chain link wrapped in a smaller wire so the smaller chickens cant fit thru it! we video taped it but i cant bring myself to watch it, husband will after work today and confirm its what i suspect ( a fox, one took out my whole flock 2 yrs ago and i just got the nerve to start again) the only thing i can think of was that since the chicken is young, she didnt know to be afraid?? and it grabbed her thru the fence, there is no access, fox even tried to chew thru a couple of spots. please help! i only have 3 left, i dont want to give up my girls again.
i had a silkie and a crested polish pulled right thru the wire coop, they were only 4 weeks old, and they didnt know better to get away from the wire,im sure it was a raccoon,,, it was so sad, i feel your pain

Although it would be satisfying to replace my bedroom floor mat with a fox hide, and hang it's skull on my barn. Suppose a .22 is more productive in that regard.

Mmmm, stepping on lush fox pelt every night as I climb into bed.

Yes, if you want to save any part of the fox, a .22 lr would probably be sufficient.

I lost a very special bird to a fox a few months ago during the middle of the day when she was out. I do have electric wire around my coops and pens. I know I can't keep the predators away so I protect my birds the best I possibly can. A .22 works just fine too. I had two live traps set out, one was a very large hog/coyote trap and the other was for coons and fox. I set the traps for a few nights with bait that the predators could get to and then set the trap I caught my killer fox. I also got it on camera.
Here it is at the baited traps. I have seen more fox since. We also have a lot of coyotes.
