Ohh....sorry, but it pains me to see this. I thought this would be a happy ending. Foxes in my part of town are EXTREMELY rare. I've never moved either....so I've actually have never seen a fox in person. Sad to see a beautiful animal like that killed, but hey....if any predator messed with my animals, I wouldn't let them get away with it.
 
Well, I support you sandspoultry. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I'm glad that your birds didn't get hurt, which is what matters the most and did make this story have a happy ending, in a sense. Every story has a protagonist and an antagonist and what makes the antagonist evil is not always clearly defined. To the fox, it was searching for food to keep it alive and healthy. To the birds, an evil killer was lurking around and has now been removed from the world. Remember, everyone is the good guy in their own story. Good luck with your poultry endeavors in the future!!
