I lost a 10 week old pullet sometime between yesterday morning and the evening before. Caught a fox on the game camera walking around my run around 10pm last night. I was thinking of setting up a tree stand and waiting for him with a crossbow. My boyfriend said "You don't know anything about crossbows or tree stands"...

That particular chicken liked to free range. I caught her a few times hanging out with the Cornish x in their run. We're not set up well for daytime predators and they've never been an issue. I think she escaped sometime through the day and didn't make it back.

I also have an indoor cat that likes to escape as well. My dog has been the only 'predator' I have seen on my camera as of lately up until this fox appeared. And since I'm not permitted to shoot the fox with a crossbow, (I might still watch from a tree stand) I might borrow a trap and try to live trap it and take it somewhere else.
