    2 of our six hens became fox meat this evening. I hadn't been letting them out that much, but lately they'd really been enjoying it. We left them out when we went in to dinner, and when we came back, there were a few piles of feathers. Sad. OTOH, it was the oldest and the weakest. The circle of life continues....

    I don't care about the circle of life when it comes to my girls......but something is odd. Foxes don't usually leave feathers. are you sure it wasn't a dog or bobcat?
