foxes - how to catch and how to protect from

What is the best way to catch a fox?

Also, until the sucker is gone, how do I best protect the ducks and chickens. Yard is fenced, but that darn fox went right through the fence (livestock fencing). If it goes through that fence, it can go through the fence that is around the duck food yard that keeps the dogs out of an area by the house where the ducks/chickens have food/water. I don't think I can make that fox safe either since it buts up to the deck which it could easily get into that yard from.

I can fence an area around their houses with fencing with openings a fox wouldn't be able to get through. But how high to keep the fox from going over?

Electrified poultry netting usually works well against red fox.

Bait fox with a penned live bird.

Can you post some pics of your setup? It's hard to tell from your post exactly what you might need to do to get it more secure.

 

[TLWR]

We have 100' of 4' welded wire fencing and electric strands as well. So the fence will go up around their houses tonight. Then I'll figure out the electric part of it and until that is working, they will be locked up in their huts when I leave tomorrow.
