Foxes not allowing free-ranging

Anyone can have electric fences around a run, coop or pens. I have 2 separate electric fences but I still let a lot of birds free range with very minimal losses for the amount of birds I have running loose. Trapping a few foxes every now and then works just fine and the chickens are far healthier for it.

Do you have a dog?

We have a two dogs, yes. They somewhat protect them and we sometimes will let them out when the foxes come to see if they can track them. We lost one that was in a cage and the dogs went crazy when we showed them the cage. They chickens do have 3 runs they can sit in and hang out in, but they cant eat grass and bugs. We do not have electric fence up, though that sounds like a pretty good idea.
