Foxes

I guess the fox mating season has begun around here. Two nights ago, I was awakened around 3 AM by the barking of one up in my woods....actually, my barking dogs inside my house were the ones who woke me up first.

Again tonight, I heard one or two of them over in my neighbor's cow pasture.

I'm glad my girls are safe in their locked coop.

But I just might consider having some electric fencing put around the perimeter of the run.....

.....and if that ain't bad enough, out of the 3 chickens hatched in October that my son-in-law gave me about a month ago......I now think 2 of them are roosters!
